Once the school year begins and you have schedule
changes or new students to schedule, it is very important to use the Entry Date
box in the Scheduling|Schedule Changes screen.
This date defaults to the current
date. You must enter the date the student will begin attending the classes you
are adding to the schedule in the Entry Date box. It is important for this date
to be correct for period attendance reporting and state reporting for many
states.
An Entry Date box has also been added to the Copy Class List and Copy Student Schedule screens in the Elementary Scheduling Area.
NOTE: The entry date is checked by the program to be sure that the student is enrolled on that date. If not, the student’s entry date from the demographics area will be used as the course entry date.
