School Policy Reports

Below are the main Demographics reports with a brief description of each.

Cumulative Policy: Based on a date range you enter (along with any other sort you create), this report prints a list of students who have received letters and the letter titles with the date on which they were sent. Letters may be locked or unlocked to appear on this report.

Daily Policy (unlocked letters): This report prints a list of students who will be receiving letters in this batch. This report is typically run right after the policy selection process was executed and before the actual letter(s) are printed.

Policy Envelopes: If supported by your printer, envelopes are printed for the unlocked letters just created by the policy selection process.

Policy Letters: This is the actual letter that will be mailed home to the parent/guardian. It is used for policy types based on demographics, discipline, or health records.

Policy Letters (Daily Attendance): This is the actual letter that will be mailed home to the parent/guardian. It is used for policy types based on daily attendance only, and it can optionally include the student’s attendance records for a date range you specify.

Policy Letters (Period Attendance): This is the actual letter that will be mailed home to the parent/guardian. It is used for policy types based on period attendance only, and it can optionally include the student’s attendance records for a date range you specify.

Policy Letters Sent to Students: This report lists all letters sent to a student’s parents in the date range specified. The address used to send the letter is also shown for verification purposes. It is similar to the Cumulative Policy report.

Policy Mailing Labels: Labels are printed for the unlocked letters just created by the policy selection process.

Policy Master List: This report prints out the school policy definitions you have created in the policy definition area. It is great to use to debug your setup or spell check your letter.

Summary Policy: This report lists each policy type (demographics, daily attendance, period attendance, in any period, health records, discipline) and the policies (letters) for each type. To the right it shows how many students have received each policy in the date range you specify.
