Human Resources has many 
features such as, Applicant Entry from the Web, Applicant Tracking, Employee 
Information, e Time Sheets, Time Clock, Employee Attendance and Employee View of 
Payroll Records, Attendance Records, Contract Status and more. Below are brief 
descriptions of each area of the Human Resource sections.
Job 
Applicant Entry and Tracking
Job applicants can apply for 
all available positions from your website with the power of SDS. Each applicant 
receives a password and ID. Electronic documents (i.e. Resume) can be easily 
attached. Once the applicant has completed the online application it is 
INSTANTLY accessible by your staff! The hiring of an applicant is so easy. You 
simply make the entry that the individual is hired. All the pertinent 
information for payroll and human resources is automatically rolled from the 
applicant file. 
Remote Employee Attendance and Time Card Entry 
Employee Attendance along with substitutes' time cards can be entered from 
the building level. After departmental approval, the information immediately 
appears in the payroll department for final authorization. By working over the 
WEB, this connection will speed up the entry of attendance and time cards. 
Secure control remains in the Payroll Department. 
Salary Schedule 
Developer 
With the unique SDS Salary Schedule Developer; you will be 
able to calculate, within seconds, salary schedule scenarios with either a 
dollar or percentage projection. You will see the number of employees in each 
bracket along with specific cell costing information, and you also will be able 
to view a scatter gram of your employees. By being web based, this program can 
be accessed from any location that has a web connection (helpful at a board 
retreat). When a schedule is approved, a click of your mouse and your new 
contract amounts are automatically assigned. 
Employee View of 
Records 
Employee view of payroll records, attendance records, contract 
status, and more can be setup in the system if your district/school desires. 
E Time Sheets
E Time Sheets is the electronic time sheet process used to assign time sheet information to the employee to review and approve. These time sheets will then be processed through the system to the supervisor and the payroll department for their approval. After the e time sheets have been approved they will be available for the payroll process.
Time Clock
The Time Clock allows the employees to clock in and out of the system electronically. Time is then tabulated by employee, account number and pay date. This information is available for an approval process. Once the time cards have been approved they can be transferred to payroll for processing.
3rd Party Attendance and Time Processing
The 3rd Party Attendance and Time Processing will allow the ability to import time for payroll processing and attendance from a 3rd party software program into WFO.
Human Resource Control Center
The Human Resource Control Center has some very unique features. This area has the feature to add new sick days, personal days, vacation days, ect to a group of employees. Deductions and Benefits can also be added to employees in this area based on a group or on an individual basis. Other master items can be added as a group or individually such as years in district, years teaching experience.
Staff Email Communication Center
This area provides a way to send an E-Mail to an individual employee or a group of employees and can be beneficial when the need arises to remind employees of certain items that are kept for informational purposes by the district. The user will simply identify the staff members(s) they wish to send an email to in the Employees section.
